Jaymele Jamal Devontay Davis, known professionally as FTF Prophet, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter.
Growing up on the westside of Jacksonville, raised by his aunt and grandmother, Prophet had little to no opportunity but was always musically inclined. Feeling trapped in a city of violence and poverty, in 2014 Prophet decided to create opportunity and left for college in Miami. There he attended Barry University for 2 years and it wasn’t long before he picked up the mic and dropped out. Chasing his dreams, Prophet then created his brand “ Fantasy To Facts” which represents his lifestyle of manifesting greatness. He decided to further his music career dropping his first project “Connection or Coincidence” where he raps about his experiences, and the struggles of a young man in the fast life. In 2018 Prophet dropped his 3rd body of work “4 My Town” that gained a lot of attention and started shaking up the streets of his city. Now after taking a year off and a step back as an indie artist, FTF is now more consistent than ever. He has his foot on the neck of the industry with his latest mixtape he’s working on titled “Dirt To Diamonds” and is continuing to grow his fanbase through streams and social media.
